GRAPHICS & SOUND
This is a simple game where the hole acts as a bullseye. There are rings around the hole, and the closer you get, the more points you get, with the most being getting it in the hole.
You get one shot per hole. There is wind to contend with, and you get extra points for curving the ball and giving it backspin.
There are a bunch of modes. The main modes are a timed mode that gives you more time the better your shots are, and a tournament mode where you are trying to get more points to score a high score and unlock other courses.
I find the gameplay to be very addicting.
You flick the screen the direction you want the ball to go. The longer and quicker you flick, the further the ball goes.
As the ball is in the air, you can swipe the screen in any direction to influence the ball to curve or give it back/forward spin in order to get it as close to each hole as possible.
GRAPHICS AND SOUND:
Pretty basic graphics are all you need for such a simple game, but the courses look nice and the sound effects are appropriate.
The game is $.99 to buy, and then $9.99 to unlock all the courses at once, but it looks like you can unlock everything through normal gameplay. For $.99, I feel there's plenty of content here.
This is a fun arcade golf game that is great for short gaming sessions.
